Prince Piano Tribute Tracklist Hi Folks,
The Artist formally known as Alicattt here!  Changed my .org name to tie in with my website
I posted a couple of Prince piano renditions on youtube the other week, and have got to thinking about doing some piano albums of different artists, including our man, if you had to choose 10 Prince tracks that would be befitting of Piano versions, what would they be??..... My number one request for you to cover is perhaps too obvious, but "Purple Rain" is and always will be my favorite Prince song. some great calls there people. "I Love You, but I don't trust....." would be great, forgotten what a cool piano choon that is.
Maybe i should do another medley of some of these songs on youtube, i play when 2 r in love, how come you....and beautiful ones, and purple rain starting with the piano bit that Prince plays in the basement in the movie. thanks for the kind words also. keep the ideas coming | |

Cool, some top ideas. I've never heard the Grand Progression. I know its a boot track, and often hear people discussing it. Don't think I would ever get away with covering a bootleg track that no-one is supposed to have heard!
Like the idea of Condition of the Heart, though that intro would be a demon to work out by ear!! Also of course I nearly forgot Venus De Milo! Is the instrumental at the start of UTCM - An Honest Man? | |
