We dont exist 2 the NPGMC. It seems that way cos i didnt receive any emails about the new files.

vince didnt get email,we got snubbed on the tour,i sent a petition with 40 names on it from this site ALONE ,aussie who want a tour & all i got was "thanx 4 the feedback".

I think TRC was only released officially in Australia in May or June - 6 months after the US release. So don't get too excited too soon. I can't see it selling very well here as the only people who would buy it have already got it from NPGMC.

Maybe if "Kangarro Jack" is a hit in the states, and Prince enjoys it, he will consider Australia.

eye wrote a note about 3 weeks ago about red eye records in sydney recieving 6 copies of the ONA live set.
apparently the guys in the shop loved it and were playing it all day.
judging on what my friend who bought it on the day of it arriving for AUD$130 told me, those 6 copies would have sold out that day or the next

i guess buying it on NPGMC retail for $100au is the best deal i'll get unless someone picks it up,i dont wanna wait 3 months like TRC,i want it now

Ok, they (staff) have a better respect for Prince, when I got TRC on import off them, they were enthusiastic about the CD and him and said it was a "great" Cd (which is a lot more of a response then taking a Prince CD to a HMV / Sanity counter to be frowned upon by the ditzy 19yr old sales assistant).

However, they use to stock so much Prince stuff, that now iz scarce. They stopped selling "Uptown" magazine, I e-mailed them at that time, and I got a fucked up response as to why they stopped stocking it ("no demand, if u want these sort of things, go elsewhere") was the line I got from Captain Customer Service that day.

...And yes price. They know that no other store will have it, and that it won't get a local release for a while, and yes they know that Prince fans will pay anything to get their hands on it, even if it means paying $10, $20, $30, $40, $50, etc bucks extra, so they take advantage of it
