"Purple Rock" Playlist

For those of us that love his rock themed songs (guitar driven,not funk with a great solo)...what's on your playlist? Here's a few of mine..I left out some obvious ones for the sake of variety

Yep. Very nice.

I made a similar "Rock Experience" 3 CD set several years ago (as well as "The Ballad Experience" and "The Funk Experience" sets), but the loudness levels went up and down so often, I couldn't stand listening to them after a while. Now that I have software to alleviate that problem, I should recompile them.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

I've had a similar problem with putting my purple iPod on shuffle with variations in loudness. I'm too lazy to correct the issue.

Re-ripping your CDs with Apple's iTunes-included Sound Check will be a pain, but may be necessary. iVolume will also normalize volume levels of compressed audio on iPods and Macs/PCs. I'm not sure if there's a free program that is as highly regarded, though. So it may cost you around $30 after the trial.
