I remember the doves from an interview and I know Mayte had a dog while they were together.

To answer the question, Prince kept 2 doves, Majesty and Divinity at Paisley Park. He also had a tortoise-shell cat named Paisley. Mayte had a little dog whose name escapes me. As far as I know, he doesn't have any pets now.
