Cet album N'EST PAS LOTUSFLOWER mais MPLSOUND, c'est à dire le cd 3 du triple album lotusflow3r qui est en France, personne ne sait trop pourquoi, édité en un seul cd (il y aussi la version 3cd mais en édition limitée, on se demande pourquoi également).
Alors l'éditeur a choisi le cd3, pas le cd 2 (on sait pas pourquoi non plus), et vend plus cher que les 3 réunis aux Etats-Unis.
L'album est bon, Prince y établit avec sa voix de Camille des sonorités electro, mais sans LotusFlower il manque crucialement quelque chose.
En résumé n'achetez pas cette version de l'album, l'éditeur français veut vous arnaquer par ce biais alors que la version 3cd est largement préférable.

So it is for completists only?

This album is not Lotusflow3r but Mpls sound, which is the cd number 3 out of the the triple cd set which is in france and no one knows why edited into one single cd. (there is also a limited 3 cd version which we are still wondering why)
So the editor chose cd number 3, not cd number 2 (we don't know why either), and is selling it at a highr price than the triple cd set in the USA.
The album is good, Prince establishes with his camille voice electro sounds, alas without lotusflow3r it crucialy lacks something.
To sum it all don't buy this version of the album, the french editor wants to crook you this way while the 3cd version is way more preferable

Just got back from Fnac Brussels and they are expecting that version to come in Belgium as well, as an import. But it hasn't arrived yet.

I just get the CDs yesterday and for completists there's some nice stuff.
The CD release of MPLSound rencammed LotusFLow3r has an A4 poster included (one side LotusFLow3r cover and the other side MPLSound cover) and the back side of the CD is totally black. Very nice effect. The CD label covers all the CD surface.
The 3 CD release of LotusFlow3r doesn't have any poster in it but all backsides of the 3 CDs are totally black.The CDs labels cover all the CD surface.
Additionnaly, the label of the CDs are a little different than the original US release, a closer view for MPLSound and LotusFlow3r cover. Strangely 'No More Candy 4 U' isn't listed on the 3Cdpack but is present on the CD.
Anyway, nothing revolutionnary, only for completitsts.

As for people in France who think Prince doesn't play any music anymore, it's maybe a good point.

There is still fans of Prince in France who are waiting for him to "tour", the concerts will be booked in few hours and I'm not sure I'll have the time to buy a ticket even...

I've heard the remix so far, it doesn't fit to what I expected : well, in simple words, I don't like it.

I tried to dl the mp3s I wanted from amazon.fr it it won't allow my region even though I'm almost a next door neighbour! Maybe a glitch for now coz I buy from Amazon US, UK and Germany no problem. Though, even with packaging & postage it's still cheaper to buy from the US.

Reviews of the French buyers are positive, it has 4 stars but there are complaints about the political promotion of it.
