I remember hearing talk about Prince possibly performing in France several months ago before the Montreux performance, and now it sounds like there will be a perfornance or two there this "fall".

odd that he would chose MPLSound but then again maybe not, since the single is from that disc. But he's still calling it Lotusflow3r... which is kinda interesting.

I guess MPLSound really is just the sorta subtitle of Disc 2 with Lotusflow3r being the main title of the project, kinda like Kate Bush and The 9th Wave on the 2nd side of the Hounds of Love, perhaps?

sigh... what happened to the days of getting news of a new album by prince, hearing about the worldwide release date, waiting excitedly for the date, then going to a record store and buying the thing.

i know times have moved on and as prince says... ahem... "the gatekeepers have to change" but in my opinion, releasing it in one country and not in another just devalues the whole thing.

planet earth didn't get a decent promo in the states, same with musicology in europe.

it all sucks in my opinion.

Does anybody know if it's going to be issued in Switzerland too (french part)? We have the same distributors over here...
On a more personal note, I have to admit that it annoys me having to buy Bria's cd with the whole package... I couldn't care less
