Not everyone is as infatuated a Prince fanatic like some of us, knowledgeable in his every nuance. A lot of fans simply like his music, along with other artists and interests.

Whenever I go to a U2 show, or a Bruce Springsteen show, I better get to hear one of my favorite songs, fuck if someone has heard one of my favorite songs ad nauseam.

As long as he continues to rock the house like he has, what more could a fan ask for.

I don't care what anyone says, Prince is and probably always be the greatest and most talented live performer of all time! I wish Prince live footage was easily available to watch online without all these internet takedowns. I bet that if there was a load of cool live stuff on Youtube, Prince would gain more fans, especially younger ones like me, who never got to see him back in the day!

Prince is the baddest MF out there.

He has been that dude my entire lifetime and I always compare every player to him. Some can hang in ONE, maybe two specific areas - but the overall artistry across the board is a wipeout win for Prince every time.

It would be nice if Prince put all those hard guitar pieces on one cd and put the other softer pieces without a heavy guitar part on another. He has fans of all ages right? Sometimes a song is beautiful and then half way the heavy stuff starts and it ruins it for me.

Yes, I think that Prince is still getting musically "better" with time and I believe he will maybe until he reaches his.....sixties ? I don't know, but I don't see a limit yet

His actual band - John, Renato and Rhonda,3 exceptional skilled musicians - is also a challange and pushing him further. I really enjoyed the O2-shows ( loved Shelby's voice, the horns, the whole band was solid gold and with the Twins there even was kind of eye-candy) but ONA in 2002 and now Montreux in July was another level !!
I'm quite curious how Monaco sounded like, looking forward to listen to it one day cool

Just hope he is keeping the FUNK and still ROCKING the house besides the jazzy direction he is going to.
