I Believe that Prince is trying to open our hearts and minds because the music has always been purposeful. Prince is a talented musician that sings a lot of beautiful things about life.

He's already accomplished so much with his music.


I think the last 10 years, he's been trying to accomplish more with his career than anything musically.


He'll just keep us guess I'm sure.

I think he and Frank Zappa are kindred spirits in an addiction to composition and recording. The audience probably didn't matter to Frank for most of his career and I imagine the audience hasn't mattered much to Prince in ages. I'm fine with that. Look at them both as composers and not as run-of-the-mill pop stars and their anti-social tendencies fit into a larger picture. The music is more important than their own well-being in most cases.
