Prince's custom guitar left in Great Britain! You should see this unbelieveably cool guitar. It was custom made for Prince by Simon Farmer at GUS guitars (guitars for Pendulum & others). Purple/carbon fiber/gold hardware...It seems Prince had to leave before it was ready.
Someone in his organization (his soundguy?) originally was in touch w/Simon, now lost touch. I think Prince would flip over this guitar. Even the matching case is Purple. As Simon is a friend, I'd like to see his instrument where it belongs w/it's intended artist. You can see pics over in GALLERY section. The story I heard was they hoped to give it to Prince during 21 nights but he wasn't interested saying he doesn't endorse guitars... or something like that. | |

Cool guitar. I want it. What kind of pickups are on it. Prince is very partial to active EMGs. Since it was unsolicited, I can see why Prince would decline the offer. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
