Boom - that guitar part... ...from around 2:10 onwards to the end of the track. Man! gets me pulling the Prince guitar funk face every time.
That high-pitched motif too that he kind of repeats twice at 2:33 - 2:55 sounds like something he has done on another past album(?) Then straight after that is some nice chunky fuzzy funky rock rhythm riffing too.  Love it. Prince can still pull it out of the bag IMHO...Just somewhere in the middle,

I recently realized that I make the funk face as well when a solo (not necessarily this one) comes on. Time to join my Funk Face Anonymous group. (Little Richard enters the stage)

I only play bass (without the face) in the car. Driving + funk facing + guitar playing = accident (Little Richard enters the stage)
