The "P" in "Prince" is the profile of a lion's head. On the cover, look at the mouth of the lion's head and then look at this picture here. Even in this pic, look at the hair. P's hair didn't receed back, it always went forward. Look at ANY 1999 era pics of P's hair and it's always foward, not combed backwards as it is here. Also, P's hair was always cut short and combed down in the back of his head. Here it's all bushed out in the back like P had an afro and shit. P NEVER wore his hair like this as it is in this pic. To me, the silhouette of the face, the extreme flatness of it is a dead giveaway that it's designed to match the face of the lion's head on the 1999 tour.

If you save that image and then blow it up, you can see it's ... well it's not Prince anyway, it's a bit spooky actually.. But it's a blurry pic to start with, so I guess it's a lion's head

but I had effed up seats for th e PR tour...behind the stage...and yeah at the beginnign we saw the mannequins pop up on the side(s) and then go down...they even had the WDC granny hat on...but as we were behind the stage seating we wintessed Prince being taken along bent over to th ecenter to rise from below.

I got hip to it after reading back in the late 80's where Roy Bennet talked about working with P and he mentioned about them building this mannequin that was to be used during the song International Lover. He also mentioned, like he did in one of the books written on P. Maybe it's DMSR or Pop Life. But about how they at first wanted Jill to be sitting up there, waiting for P. But P didn't want to do it. He mentioned that same thing again when he was talking about them having a mannequin built. Just like the thing with J.J.,.. they may have never used the doll. P could have changed his mind or it didn't work out. I don't know. But to me, in the pic, it does not look like a profile of a human face. It looks like Kimba The White Lion. Who on here remembers that cartoon? The creators went after The Lion King for plagerism because the plots were similar. That's what the mannequin looks like. The profile of Kimba, the baby lion.
What did Prince say? "I've got a lion in my pocket"?
