Fresh from the press Nice Matin pics 16th Aug.

Yesterday at Le Sporting Monte Carlo.
People seemed pretty packed, doesn't it? Seen the price of 515 euro's.
I thought everybody would have their own table..... this looks like a German Beerfest lol

I can't but wonder how much King Albert has paid to get Prince here in Monte Carlo.

Yes. For us non-Canadians. Thank you in advance.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Prince. Monaco is not a Kingdom but a Principality geek

So there were at least 2 1958 born Princes there that night smile

Ok, this is my translation, not a google translator so it will be filled with mistakes. Maybe a French orger can help out?

Like a purple and gold seduction. Suddenly Prince has appeared, yesterday night, at 11pm, at the prestigious hall of Sporting Monaco, dressed in a puple riding coat and crème coloured pants. Completely a symbol before the musician starts the first tunes of Purple Rain, one of his ... (significant?) hits.

….?..... A way of placing the start of this last of three concerts given in Monaco during a period of 4 days - after those of Thursday night at l’Opéra de Monte Carlo - under the sign of his most greatest creating (?) power.

The king of funk has embarked/loaded the 850 spectators of the hall of stars very fast into his most known repertoire, having them tied a few minutes later with "Cream", the piece with which he made a carton (????) at the world of the nineties.

But the guitar virtuose Prince was also present, with "Play your hands on me", sowing tunes giving you shivers.
Still companied with his 5 band members, The Artist seemed to have wanted to offer a complete spectacle yesterday night, between classic and experimental pearls.

Confirming, during the ride, his status of true scene animal, sensual and cat like

Good translation. I've corrected one sentence (in bold)

I did not run this through Google or Babelfish, I just translated because I know a little bit of French. Okay, here it goes ...

An echanted evening, Prince appeared in less than a day after the venue (Olympic swimming venue) was transformed from a sporting venue to a concert hall, the prestigious Monaco Sporting House.

The artistic symbol appeared in regal purple and gold seduction at 11pm and started the concert with Purple Rain.

Sunday evening's concert was a unique venue to conclude his stay in Monaco - one of three concerts he performed in Monaco over a 4-day stay. His two other concerts was at the Monaco Opera House on Thursday.

The regal Prince of funk performed for only 850 people.

Among the songs performed from his vast catalogue of hits, Cream, which was created in the 1990s.

A virtuoso on guitar, he performed "When I Lay My Hands on U." Accompanied with a five-member backing band, "The Artist" took unique takes and experimented with classic and experimental gems, a spectacle throughout the evening.

Did I do okay?
