As I'm a huge Prince fan since 84', I always told 2 myself that 1 day I would go 2 Minneapolis. Dream came true in July, and since then I shared some pictures with U. Now let's talk about First Avenue: I went there many nights even for a Prince party (4 only 3$ !!!). I was really impressed by the place, knowing what happened there (wonderful gigs and the movie).
1 day I was lucky 2 go inside despite it was closed, the staff kindly let me take some pictures...






Yes I'm really thankful 2 Prince 4 all the joy he's bringing me despite some periods that I dislike (SOTT tour,Graffiti Bridge, Nude tour...). Good memories though as my first concert in Paris in 86', and many more since then with good aftershows...

Is the place open all the time, can one just walk in?

I've been there. I went to see Greazy Spoon there, which was a band with Tommy Elms Barbarella. They were awesome. It was a great night. Free tickets to the gig, and great music. It really is just like you see it in the movie. The floor, the doors, everything about it was just like it was in the movie for me. Hot as a motherfuck in there in the summer though.
