It's a good thing you didn't get too close to that Asian-Indian bodyguard actually I think he is Latino . he's not nice at all. (He reminds me of Pinky the orange, wild, tabby cat from the animal shelter who bit the deputy in the groin for trying to put him up for adoption.)

Well at least you got to see Prince's car and hear some songs for free. Look at the bright side.

Oh and next time, I would not take my hubby or kid to a Prince concert. I don't particularly like to spend my time in the toilet during a Prince concert.

First thing I told hubby when we left home, if I didn't have my kid things would have been much different.

I also have my own innerdemons telling me I should grow up but I JUST CAN'T. Something in this man attracts me so much, through the years I think it's getting less but whenever there's a concert something snaps inside. Just have to indulge him whenever I can, he's worth it.
Maybe when he's strolling around with a rollator I'll come to my senses

And my poor six year old (and also my husband) was so sweet, he didn't complain at all. He stepped and stepped and stepped all afternoon, poor thing was exhausted when we left.

I had such a laugh with him today, we were sitting at a restaurant and he starts saying "Prince, my daddy, Prince, my daaaaaddddyyyyy" with an American accent, he knew his dad wouldn't like it so we laughed so hard together.

When Prince's car left yesterday, hubby and I were (please note FOR FUN) discussing that we should have done more to get pics of Prince in the car. I'm laughing again just thinking about it, we said that we should have pushed our kid with his step in front of the car so that the car had to stop and then I could make pics through the front window

I'm sorry, I thought is was hilarious, my poor kid, we are bad parents but sometimes you got to keep things funny

Oh CJ... I really don't know where to begin... I'm laughing my head off at so much, but feel really sad for you too.. you were SO close. But it obviously wasn't meant to be, this time! Those pics are amazing, and yes you have missed your vocation in life as a paparazzi / photojournalist / stalker extraordinaire!! Damn Prince, sees one little lady sitting on a pole and he should have shouted out "Hey Carmen, how's it going?" and come over and given you a lovely kiss and hug for all your devotion over the years...! Unless he thought "Uh oh, there's that girl who always has the binnoculars, quick get me out of here, she'll scrutinise EVERYTHING and post it on that bloody org!!" What a story... next time, next time, will be your time. Oh and hey, not every day you get to chat to Mr Hayes and have your pic taken with him huh? Not too shabby for a day on holiday Seems like he was doing his best for you all, but even he has to scrabble around to try to get things done, did he play keyboards at all or just run around looking for tickets ??

Yeah, I think you have to look at this in a positive way, you've seen quite a few shows, but this is certainly the experience from a different angle!! And you look great in these pics btw

When the cars left the hotel at 8.30pm on the 16th of August, they went straight past the Sporting M-C, so I don't know if Prince went to eat at an exclusive restaurant somewhere in Monaco or maybe further.
There are hundreds of exclusive restaurants all along the coast line and among the mountains, restaurants we can only dream of. Although, him eating some garlic spinach, a salad or some vegetable soup shouldn't cost that much, right?

Michael Jackson on the other hand was totally cool with his fans hanging around him. He give hugs and autographs easily.

You know, when I walked to that door and sat there, I surrendered my "gear" to my him and I told him to stay away because I wanted to give Prince a hand. He went pacing up and down the street with our camera and the biggest lens we have yelling from time to time like a peasant if I had seen something. I yelled several times back that he had to be quiet but he didn't hear me.
Hubby actually thinks that they send me away and used the umbrella's because he was so loud and showing the camera
