Thanks for posting that. I've never read it. For the most part, it seemed very scripted, but there are a couple of things that were strangely revealing.

decent . i read this a while ago. funny, i was just watching do the right thing for some reason . one of my favorite movies, but tell me why i'm always super after watching it?

Yeah I felt that it seemed scripted too, for some reason almost every interview with Prince seems like he's acting or being over the top!

Thanks alot..I like how Prince constantly referred himself as a black man in this interveiw. Saying things like "what we as black people...."And saying "we" meaning African Americans..

I laughed when Prince started talkin about Girl 6 (the movie) and the scene where "How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore" was played and Prince saying this..

"Where you used "How Come U Don't Call Me Any More," is my favorite scene. In fact it forced me to put that song back into our set. I said I would never play it again because I used to think I couldn't do it better than I did with my band, the Revolution.

Read it at the time.

SL: You said earlier that you have been in love with Mayte for one thousand years. Can you elaborate on that?

TA: I am a firm believer in reincarnation for people who either have more work to do or have so much debt to pay back that they have to be here. I hope for me it is the former, and my work was finding Mayte and having a child, which we will continue to work on until there are several here.
