Buddy Miles and Prince I'm listening to a ONA concert boot from the Dallas aftershow at the Red Jacket and how awesome was it for Buddy Miles to invite Prince back on stage to do some vocal riffing. The part that always gets me is when Prince and Buddy do vocal call-and-responses is sort of reminiscent to the way Jimi and Buddy would trade vocals in the Band of Gypsies. It reminded me that Prince should sing more songs in that register. Especially his first vocal phrase starting at 13:39. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR

I saw Buddy Miles sit in with the NPG in Chicago....at the Metro, if memory serves me correctly. BTW...that was the same show where Malcom Jamal Warner came on stage and "rapped". THAT was SOME shit. Occupy Alphabet Street!

Malcolm Jamal Warner is pretty solid as a bass player (acoustic and electric). He's a better spoken word artist than a rapper. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR
