Would you like to see Prince in a movie again? Would you as a fan like to see Prince make a movie again for theatrical release. What theme should the movie be about. What directors and actors would you like to see him collaborate with??

as an aspiring filmmaker I dream of getting enough clout 2 collaborate with him and bring that Dream Factory musical concept 2 the big screen... using the unreleased material as well as released (sorta like how they did ABBA in Mamma Mia!)
but realistically speaking, I want another Spike Lee collab

I'd like to see him do a biopic of someone with musical talent. His new outlook on life would probably make it very easy for him to play someone from a more conservative era in music. The soundtrack could be him covering the originals from that artist. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Hell to the nizzaw, they should ban his ass from Hollywood. Grafitti Bridge was proof he should never do movies again. So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

Prince has a pretty good screen prescience and could definitely do more movies BUT...
He would absolutely, posetively have to relinquish creative control. He would have to be completely hands off and just concentrate on his own role. Let the writers write. Let the director Direct. If Prince could do this, I could see him doing well in films. But you know our Boy.....

but realistically speaking, I want another Spike Lee collab I think Spike is the only one who could still make a good film with Prince and still remain "independent" of Prince. Most artists who work with Prince seem to get a stigma that P has them wrapped around his finger. This is, of course, why Spike would never do it. Prince would want to call the shots and I'd have yet another 'Graffiti Bridge' to buy in disguise at Best Buy. "You buying this?", says the cashier. "Uh...yeah, it's for my cousin", I say veering off to see who's watching me buy the worst movie set of all time. So my answer is no, no more acting in movies, but a concert film would be great to see. only if it was a concert film of his recent gigs like from montreaux or monaco
or a fantasy film with lawrence fishbourne as ike somebody playing jimi hendrix somebody playing sly and prince as prince directed by either taylor hackford or spike man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I would like to see it happen, even if it comes out lame. It's cool for the hardcore fanbase. Graffiti Bridge, as bad a movie as it is, is still extremely interesting for my inner Prince-nerd. I have seen that movie robably 20 or 30 times.

Period Movie, about the Black Drag Artist on the underground circuit Little Richard started on. Definately a Cameo, eccentric piano player dressed as a woman.

I actually LIKE Prince's acting. To say he is horrible, as several people do, is a wild exaggeration IMHO. I'm sure that with a good director by his side guiding him he could be really good! We have seen great actors giving mediocre performances depending on the director. A great director can bring out the best out of the actor. I am but mad north-northwest

Graffiti Bridge was taken WAY 2 seriously on Prince's part... I view the film as a tight homage 2 the 50/60 soundstage musicals... nothing else... but he made it so melodramatic and just killed the easy going spirit of the film... this is my opinion... so I view it as a positive if I don't concentrate on it 2 much but if ur judging it as a serious attempt... its TRASH
