I say because we expect so much from him. We are well aware of his capabilities
and have a tendency to act spoiled.
But there is a genuine appreciation
and affection for him and we want as much as possible.

That's true Orgmind. I mean I am Greedy cause I can see him Perform and Perform and dance to his songs for Hrs and you Know that is taxing on his body. But he's in Great shape to be able to do that. He is a Stud for Damn Sure! Oh,God!

There are ways to release The Vault stuff without it getting in the way of any new things he wants to do.

Yeah, maybe Prince doesn't think or I don't even know if he cares, we don't really love him or care. But look what some of us do, some people spend their last dime to go see him,we put ourselves thousands dollars in debt to see him.
We get on planes, in some way we even risk our lives to go see him.We don't buy new clothes or give up other things so we can buy a concert ticket.

We stand in lines for hours, in rain storms, in snow, in below zero temperatures.

Remember last year at the celebration in the rain storm they wouldn't let us in, and when they finally let us in we looked like a bunch of drowned rats?

We don't do any of that stuff for him. We do it for ourselves. Do you do the same stuff for an artist that you are not interested in? Why not? Because YOU don't want to. So, why do you queue in the rain? Because U want 2. I flew to see him in London this year because I wanted to. He flew there to play. We both did our bit. Why should he give a monkeys about me?

listen, what the hell are y'all talking about? Prince was the one who made the proposition, he's the one who started the NPGMC! He said that if you'd pay $100 you get this, this & that.
What did we get? some of us got preferred seating; most of us waited until december for the (live-)cd's when what we really wanted was the Xenophobia set, etc.

So here is the truth: Prince proposed a deal so that the fans (I will not say 'fams', such a stupid word) would get new music. In the end Prince didn't deliver new music except the ONA-piano (35 min.)cd.

I can understand why people get pissed, I understand why they get frustrated. It is just like in real life, if you placed an orde you expect srevice and quality or you will not return to order again.

The only thing I'd want Prince to know is that even when I disagree with or don't like some of the things he does, I still love the music.

Yeah, I complain, but I can't imagine my life without his music.
