From a musical stand point, nothing. I don't think any of his recent CDs show much efforts towards breaking new ground. I wish he would suprise us and drop the whole mysterious, I am a puzzle act and put out a radio friendly, fun, ez on the ears cd that will catch all ears.....oh wait were are talking about Prince here, my bad . I think for all the distractions, he has it in him to play music. Anyone who has seen or heard him play live can see/hear that.
I honestly don't think he's trying to accomplish anything other than to get that music out. People here have criticised his beliefs, but I've not known a Prince album to not promote a love of God. So perhaps that's what he's trying to do with his music? | |
