P might be planning something in Europe (Ireland) I work for HMV in Dublin, and today, well yesterday I just saw it today, we got this huge shipemnt of Prince albums. The kind we get when a band is planning a big show here, or something major happens like MJ's death, and along with it we got a memo saying 'stock immediately', which is what we usally get in cases I stated already.
I got no idea, but it's very strange. Just thought I'd share

I got no idea, but it's very strange. Just thought I'd share Lotusflow3r or just assorted Prince albums? I guess Prince has the connections with WB to get it done, he doesnt care if they are WB albums or not, as long as he gets paid right? #1 at the bank and all that stuff. [Edited 8/8/09 20:16pm]

Not too strange, but you're probably over thinking it.

I wouldn't write if off you know... Sounds like he is either gonna have his own campaign at a special price or he is going over to Ireland. Only 2 things I can think of as I was a record shop manager for HMV and Our Price(remember them? lol)in the UK for 3 years.

I think you're over thinking it as well. Here in Holland that ultimate cd has been priced down recently (to only 8 euro) and we've been getting large numbers ever since.
As for the usual suspects, HMV is a big store so 5-20 copies of each isn't weird.

I got no idea, but it's very strange. Just thought I'd share No one let Wolfie see this thread! Grafton Street or elsewhere? Grafton Street's the main store so if it's the Henry Street store or somewhere smaller then chances increase. I think there's every chance he could rock a couple of nights at the O2 as part of a settlement with MCD over Croke Park Wishful thinking? Maybe.... but I live in hope.
