Prince Nude What if...our man Prince were to dump the glam, gliz, hair dye, photoshop, etc and get back to his stripped down roots. Kind of like the attitude and vibe of "dirty mind" but only from the perspective of a 51 year old who has seen and lived through some thangs. The album cover could be in black in and white with a shot of "P" from the shoulder's on up looking natural and real. Kind of like the cover of the "Prince" album of 1979. The music could be raw and real and vulnerable and devoid of cheesy lyrics and over production...maybe even recorded in some crappy studio in north Minneapolis. I wonder what it would sound like? Could be really cool. Wouldn't it be nice to see "P" come out of his comfortable and safe cage in Beverly Hills for a while and get "nude". What do y'all think???? [Edited 8/7/09 7:56am] | |

An interesting idea, albeit impossible idea. Maybe he could explore all of the themes of sex and love he did in the 80s and 90s mixed in with the classic mpls sound (hopefully, a more matured version-such as 1999-than today's messy Lotusflow3r). The record could be a contemplation of love and lust...common themes in P's book. He could even give the mpls sound a twist...add some new touches, give the classic music a whole new image.
