Don't get me wrong I'm no p hater although I'm starting to resent his contempt for the internet.I always get interested when someone mentions prince on radio or tv. That being said I have a distant aquaintance who was princes head sound engineer during the mid to late 90s and he's told me several stories of how all his employees were terrified of him and that p loved instilling fear. That whenever they would hear the sound of those heals coming down the Galla of paisley park they would hide in an adjacent office. He also told me that prince had an aura that surrounded him truly unique.He fired my freind in mid tour and left him stranded somewhere in the Midwest US.

I dont think he intends to intimidates people I just think hes a Perfectionist and shrewd Employer and if Employees do anything wrong or does things to piss him off then they feel his wrath, Ive heard all sorts of stories but he cant be that bad to work for after all his ex band members still go back and work with him again.

His name is Prince.

Damn that's a sad story but I think it all comes with being famous. If you can't swim, get off the boat

Years ago, someone on the org said that Prince went into one of his employee's offices, pulled his dick out, pissed on the man's desk, then told him he was fired.

Oh Lord, I almost spilled my drink laughing so hard when I read this.

Prince can try all that "prince" shit with me - but it wouldnt work, i'd laugh.. the game would be played in the begining but he would figure out quick.

Prince holds a lot of peoples jobs in his hands, remember these people have families and bills and responsiblities, I don't believe for one second that if he found someone working for him wrong that he would fire them. I don't blame him for a second.

He would be quite intimidating to be around I'm sure, & especially if he's your employer! If I was a boss of something I'd hate to think my employers hide from me, I'd want them to feel comfertable around me. Prince could be wearing a teddy bear costume, sucking his thumb & still be intimidating to most though...

I just love that image.

I have no doubt whatsoever that Prince knows the effect he sometimes has on people - and I sure he enjoys it too. I'm not sure if he does it deliberately - sometimes, maybe - but that's just the way he is. Being famous has nothing to do with it.


I had my own Prince 'moment' at the very last Aftershow of the O2 gigs - I was at the front, near the stage, singing along to 'Anotherloverholenyohead' (I think - either that or 'Mountains', I forget what he played exactly). I must've heard that track a thousand times and know it inside out. Halfway through the song, we made direct eye contact and my mind went totally blank. For a moment, I felt like he was looking totally through me, weird as that sounds. I completely forgot the words - and felt like such a bad fan.

He just has THAT look.
