Maybe Prince is Just Taking a Break? The musicclub maynot be down for ever. Maybe Prince is just taking a break after touring 3 continents? I hope there is a celebration though, I hate to think I will never see PP again. | |

Prince said at the second Celebration that we should do this every year. I think Prince likes having the Celebrations and Mauve said that June 19-22 was highlighted in the new 2003 Prince calendar. So I have a feeling that you WILL be able to see Paisley Park once again.
I honestly don't think a handfull of complaints is going to shut down Prince's website for good. If you think about it this way, no matter how much improvement there might be in the NPGMC next year there will always be someone that is not satisfied with some aspect of the club. The club will never be able to please everyone. I think there will be some news about the NPGMC in January and the site will probably be back up and running by then. | |

I'm glad for him AND his music that he takes a few breaks now and then...way too often musicians burn themselves out and die an early death because the DON'T take a few needed vacations

I've just had a thought...
Maybe Prince removing his web presence would be good for the fans. I think the Internet plus Prince's enigmatic output makes life hard for many hardcore fans who become too drawn in and addicted to the man and his music. If they were starved of Prince for a while they'd learn to let go and their problem would come under control. A return to the more mysterious Prince of yesteryear...? | |
