So im just trying to make one of my 20 year old friends more aware of prince's music. so im making him a cd and i want to showcase all his different types of great songs so i would like some help...i dont want to put the obvious ones that he has heard before like kiss, or when doves cry....

It sounds so dated now... Try to emphasize Prince's music from the 90s til today (TMBGITW, Diamonds & Pearls, Musicology, Planet earth, The Gold Experince) and his "mainstream" hits from the 80s (Purple Rain, 1999, I Wanna Be Your Lover, Kiss).. And only if he digs it, then he'll probably find some interest in the 80s albums, especially if he's a 20 sumthin year old fan like me...
