Why do people hate on COME? This has always confused me. Personally I think Come is amongst his best work of the 90's. From a pure production standpoint it's nearly flawless (listen to space for reference). It's a dark record with great songs and highly creative. It has aged remarkably well and I'm surprised he doesn't play any other these tracks at aftershows. Different strokes for Different folks I guess. What are your thoughts, or am I the crazy one (wouldn't be the first time)? I mean these great songs:
Come Space Pheramone- what the hell is this song about? Pappa Dark Solo- yes this song is vastly underrated here. Vocal performance is amazing. maybe it's me. I can play this one for hours!! Literally!! It's so peaceful to me with his voice and the harp.

I don't know why people hate on Come, it's a great album! i love the overall mood and feeling of it.
Prince's vocal performance on "Solo" is really refreshing. "Papa" gave me chills when I first heard it. i love the lyrics..."if u love somebody, your life won't be in vain and there's always a rainbow, at the end of every rain." "Space" is a great track too.

Come is a very good album. Come, Space, Pheromone, Papa, Dark and Letitgo.

Sorry, just weak cd to me. I don't mind papa and letitgo but just don't mind- don't love the songs. Whole cd seems like filler to me when you compare it to most of his work. | |

I just took a good listen to this album for the first time a couple of days ago! and I love it!!!
Especially these songs Come Space Pheromone Dark Letitgo Orgasm

Seriously though, everyone's personal opinion of each ablum is going to be different. It amazes me how we beat up on each other because someone likes something that the other person dosent
