Banished ones..... who are they?? After listening to TRC alot... I really would like to know... who the banished ones are...

I think he means (and I would need someone with a knowledge of the bible 2 back this up) ones who are banished 2 hell. Followers of Satan.

not "hell"... the banished ones are the ones banished from the palace. Their place is the digital garden where they read the lies from the whosepapers and the scagazines.You are not my "friend" because you threaten my security. | |

It's great isn't it? I think the banished ones are those that aren't in the club. They're banished to the front of Prince gigs, seemingly impossibly ahead of members, and often receive information first via said hellavision or scagazines (or whatever it is) ahead of members searching out the club site, and quite possibly are able to obtain new music sooner than many members. | |

In 1+1+1=3, toward the end of the song, there is chanting with the music, something about the banished ones. What is said? Something about rallying around the palace? I can't make it out. Does anyone know the lyrics? | |

The JW's don't believe in Hell but they believe in Satan. They think he rules Earth (since 1914), not Hell. They believe in a paradise, after Earth. But only JW's get to go. Everyone else just dies. They don't go to a Hell or anything. So, I think the Banished Ones are those that aren't JW's and who will not be going to "The Paradise." | |

I actually think the banished ones r the record industries big wigs! I think its a pop at the whole music industrys grip on the music scene. Price is free from them and has banished them, but they try 2 surround him in the palace, trying 2 stop him in his musical journey, but he dont crae hes just wants 2 play 2 those who just came 2 dance and b free listening 2 his music! Im prob miles off the mark, im just giving u my opinion, dont kill me yall!!! | |

The "Banished Ones" are the ones who do not follow Jehovah, the non-JWs - simple.
The Digital Garden is a metaphor for the media, internet and electric world in which we now live, one that blinds the banished ones to the Truth. Abrazo - you appear to be taking the lyrics too literally, there is a lot of metaphor in this allegorical album.
