PrintableWe have 2 remember that the album was made in the early days of CD. A large proportion of the sales would have been on Vinyl & Tape. So it's natural to experiment with relatively new technology.
Back then people weren't used 2 the convenience of digital 4mats like we r now. I'm sure nobody would try (or even be allowed 2) release an album like that nowadays. (D') | |

I live in the UK. Bought it the day it was released. Thought there was something wrong with it as couldn't skip the tracks. Went back to the point of purchase fuming and insisted they try several other CDs which they did. Pissed me off then and still does.Argghh | |

don't forget - the original pre-cd release download of The Rainbow Children was also 1 track for the whole album!! at last he didn't sell that cd like that as well.... |

Back in 1988,I wasn't into CDs yet,so I had the cassette and the vinyl album.The "continuous play" thing didn't affect me at all  But nowadays,listening to 'Lovesexy' on CD is so annoying.There are many times when I wanna skip over the first half of it and go straight to "Lovesexy","When 2 R In Love" and "I Wish U Heaven" (my three favorite songs on the album). | |
