Fantasy Set List Given Prince's upcoming performance, it got me thinking not about what songs I think he'll do, but the songs I wish he'd do but know he won't.
My "It'll never happen in a Million Years" set list: Erotic City Sexy Dancer Pink Cashmere Adore Feel U Up (Heart attack time) Peach Cream Soft and Wet Possessed Automatic Turn me Loose Let's Pretend We're Married Baby, Ur a Trip Shockadelica Nothing Compares to U Eye Wonder Keep in mind that as he played the first few bars of Eye Wonder my head would explode just like the guy in the Scanners movie. It´s kind of a cover sampling a Fleetwood Mac Chorus from their 70s song: The Chain. But P added his own story and lycrics to it. Heard it first played in NOV. 2006 in Vegas and then again 2007 in London. Great song, hypnotic melody, baseline is the same as in Come together, great hooks and arrangement. At the London gig he played it as part of the piano medley, the vegas version has got a guitar solo at the end that is just not from this planet. Very cool. Check it out. | |
