It is. The Cloud is designed and constructed as a 3/4 sized guitar to fit Prince's small frame. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

Why does it say Prince OZ on it? That font isn't the exact Purple Rain font either. There are a couple of PR fonts floating around. One is a bit more 'pointed' than the other. PR's font had a slightly rounder edge on it, giving it more of a handwritten look.
If I ever get one made, I'd want them to bump it up to full size. I ain't tiny. | |

Sorry to go a bit OT but Ive always been a bit of a cloud guitar fan myself , the peach " cloud #4 " one was a regular full size guitar right ? | |

Yeah I think that there were 2 white clouds and he destroyed one at the last Revolution gig. There was also a black cloud with a natural maple neck during 1986. The peach was in 1987 Blue Angel I believe was a repaint cuz he still had the peach in 1988. All Black in 1989- Probably the black one from 1986 1990 the darker blue 1991 Yellow cloud and Black cloud No other colors since he laid the cloud to rest during the Vegas tours However for the Superbowl pics of a Red Cloud surfaced but never used! __________________________________________________

I was just wondering if there was ever a full-size Cloud built. As I stated before, his Clouds (and Symbols) were spec'd out and blueprinted as being 3/4-size, so a full-size seems like an oddity if it existed at all. I met with the original luthier of the Cloud and saw the blueprints as we discussed building one for me. There was never a mention of a full-size, but that doesn't mean one never came to be. I think he just likes to change his color schemes up. No idea why he has abandoned the Clouds altogether, though. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
