It's not a hearing device,it's a ear wrap/cuff. He wore another one that looked like a moon.

It's not a hearing device. It's called a Moon Earwrap. As far as I know, Prince came up with this little piece of jewelry. He's worn them off and on for several years and even sold them on his old website.

I's like an earring, but stupider.
