Someone else thinks Ol' Skool Company really grows after a while?

I've always liked it, but I didn't think it was an above average song, but after listening to it over a period I've discovered that the way he musically sings the lyrics is really sophisticatedly funky.

If you really liked it from the start, good for you cool

'honey collective drop the needle down'!

Pure and utter GENIUS of a song..I have been a fan for a lonnnnng time (despite the best efforts of the org) and this is a song I can't get enough of, one of his very very best...up there with 1999, Kiss etc etc.

...that's one of the first things that initially grabbed me about it, how his vocals were so tightly syncopated, quantized if you will, into the fabric of the groove. Loved this song from the jump, and have long since PLAYED IT TO DEATH, lol. Haven't even listened to it in many weeks, but it's eternally burned into my memory as a solid hit.

Its just unbelievable.

I get the biggest adrenalin rush listening to it, so much new funk and the subject matters are killer.

I love the synth line in it.

I could just blabber on about it but, people have already explained it. I loved it from the 1st.

One of the most nastiest, hippest, baddest, most attitude filled funk jams ive ever heard and im so glad i can say that about a modern song.

Heard the Leno version first and was very excited by the build up of this song live so I was a bit disappointed by the "plodding along" studio version. It sounds rather lifeless to me sad

I love this song 2. When I heard it for the first time on Leno, i was amazed. Then i got the cds and when it got to track 8 on MPLSOUND, I was amazed at how the song dramitically changed. Maybe Prince made 2 versions? anyways i love both versions and this song is one of his best songs of all time.
