It's stocked widely in all HMVs, but only as imports that cost £29.99. Or is that the actual release price and they're not even imports? If so that's fucking disgusting. Glad I bagged the little £12.99 glitch when it was first listed on the HMV website. [Edited 7/26/09 3:29am]

There are no official releases outside of the US (..or outside or Target, for that matter!). I'm guessing if there were to be international releases then we would have seen them by now.
If you look hard enough, there are bound to be imports still floating around in half decent stores.

Ignoring how much it cost in the US, £29.99 for a 3CD set is about right. If you consider the price for each disc individually could have been £10+ (or at HMV prices £15) then it's not really that far off. Sometimes you do get cheaper CDs at HMV, but they usually are during the first few weeks of sale when the labels are trying to get their "product" to the top of the charts. Note - £29.99 is HMVs Price. They do tend to overcharge for everything. A 2 CD Alison Krauss and union Station was £24.99 at HMV, I found the same one on Amazon for half the price. In the Case of Lotusflow3r, as far as I know this was an import and HMVs import prices are always crippling. I was browsing through their World Music section in London a few years ago, and they were routinely charging double what it would have cost to personally import the same item. That's my problem with Virgin/Zavvi going into administration. HMV is the only music specialist left if you don't count Fopp (which had it's problems and only have a few stores left and I think they're owned by HMV now anyway). They have NO high street competition and charge whatever the hell they like.
