I listened 2 Crystal Ball this morning while getting ready 4 work...played "Crucial" once. Then twice. Then thrice. Then again & again & again...(just let me know when I should stop!)

Does anybody else think it's divine?

Crucial is a superb song, and one in a long list whose inclusion on SOTT would have been justified. There is one moment particularly in that song that always takes me to a higher level- his last ooo-ooo-ooh before the final chorus. Isolating something as minor as that might seem a bit strange, but I think it's exactly those sort of sublime moments that make Prince the artist that he is.

I agree 100% with U on this! The same applies 2 "Extraordinary", "Power Fantastic" and a host of others...I always find an instance in the song, a certain note or sound which takes my spirit higher. It gives wings 2 my heart and I feel like soaring above the clouds.

That's why I don't think I will EVER stop liking Prince. Glad 2 share that with U*

I always rememeber having it on bootleg when I was at school and every1 thinking Prince was admitting 2 being gay with the line 'Bcuz i'm not in love with the opposite gender'.

Yeah that is a damn good song. I did not like the bootleg version though with the horns and stuff (the extended version). I liked it just how he had it on "Crystal Ball".

I really don't get the hype of this song. I'd much rather have Extraordinary.

Crucial, just doesn't do it for me.
