He'd better be, seeing as he played half the songs from the first gig again at the second show. That was kinda annoying after all the waiting around between shows..

I'm usually pretty negative on these things but I'd say there's a good chance of it coming out. The first show was quite different to usual, like it was meant to be a one-off.

And as he's such a moneygrabbing whore (bitter Lotu$fail member, moi? lol), the fact that there were no covers of other people's songs is a positive sign too - no royalties to pay anyone if a DVD is released.

that's nice that you're keeping hope alive, but seriously, it isn't going to happen, no more than Musicology or any other tours that were filmed.

What about "Prince & the Revolution LIVE" & "Prince Live at the Aladdin Las Vegas".
When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

The Aladdin DVD is horrible to me. It is such a condensed version of the ONA tour. I would have preferred to have the full show. Especially since other shows contained full versions of songs like TRC, Anna Stesia, Mellow, etc. Those songs during the show were magical to me and I lost that magic on the dvd.

I would love to have an official Musicology DVD. I would prefer it be one of the shows mid-way through the tour, but I'll take any of them. Even the simulcast from the LA show.

I would also like a good after show DVD or CD. I like the Beautiful STrange video, but it was nothing to write home about.

There is a video of the opening night of Musicology floating around. I managed to find one. Actually I have managed to find boots of shows going back to 1983.

The opening night simulcast is the dvd that is "floating" around. I, too, have seen dvd boots of early performances from the Dirty Mind era up to present.

Then what is your point? You have seen footage from past concerts so what more do you want. In addtion, does anyone really think that the 4 hour Aladdin concert was going to be put out on DVD.

You know what if I had 77.00 dollars to give some of you as a refund I would just so you would shut the hell up already. Why aren't you disputing the charge on your credit card or asking for your money back or going to the BBB?

Anything but coming to P org and bitching about it everyday.

Yea, sure would be hard having to read posts of people bitching all day long.

-----
Yes, it is hard as almost every topic is filled with bitch filled rants. lol

To me, it's not that all 4 hours didn't make the DVD. Where the DVD failed was in capturing the essence of the ONA shows. It seemed to be edited to where he wanted to make it seem like a "big" show and not a small venue type show.

Didn't you know? Whenever you purchase an illegally obtained recording or video of Prince that he's supposed to stop by your house and watch it with you and tell you how much he appreciates everything you've done for him and that he'll go home and release everything he has in the vault so you'll shut the eff up already.
