GONE! I went in my local HMV 2day and found noooo copys of Lotusflow3r CD when last week there was about 10 all squashed in the Prince bit of the shop.
Do u think that they had 2 pull them coz they were £30 and no 1 could pay that? I duno why I didnt ask at the desk but I didnt want to ask 'Were are the CDs gone coz I wana look at them again! lol!! | |

It was probably on a sale or return deal.

That's the wave of the future on selling your music. Here in New York there are no large music retailers any longer. The 2 Virgin Megastores just shut down earlier this year. Target or Best Buy are the only places here equipped to sell large amounts of music. There are still little stores scattered around the city though. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! | |

yup-our Virgin closed years ago-and became zavvi-which went bust last year.....We have one-HMV
i think alot of folk now buy music at Asda or Tesco luckily-Birmingham is close-though again-their small indipendant shops we all used to love are gone too | |

They probably stock a hundred cds of select artists which they believe will sell. It's death for an unknown or a credible artist(i.e. Van Hunt, Nikka Costa) to not be able to move cds in certain cities on a profitable scale.
