The Truth Appreciation

The Truth is one of Prince's most creative works. I just want to know your thoughts.

I love Don't Play Me, Circle of Amour, Man in a Uniform, Fascination, One of Your Tears, Cool as the Other Side of the Pillow, Animal Kingdom, Come Back, Welcome 2 the Dawn... these songs are all CLASSICS!

I realize it's not what many fans who love to rock and funk out enjoy, but it's a stripped down GENIOUS piece of work!

I just hope that the majority of you appreciate this work as much as I do!
The public is squeezin' you kiddo. You'd better kick ass on your next album or else!

My husband made me mad yesterday so I put on The Truth and Face Down on loud and repeat xs 3. I love these 2 songs. The Truth definately rocks and love the solo Prince and guitar.

The truth has some good stuff on it. I don't know how many people listen to it or realize it though.

I used to like "Dionne" and "Circle of Amour", but eh. Not so much anymore. "Comeback" is a touching track though.

The Truth is a gem glad it was added to the CRYSTAL BALL CD SET ....(which is the only CD able to play the rest are unable to be read) I have to go on a deep search of some mom and pop stores to see if I can replace it.

He should perform more from "The Truth" in his acoustic sets. Especially "Don't Play Me".

One of my favorite albums.. "dont play me" is one of my favorite songs..The fact that so many people weren't into the whole acoustic vibe was cool with me.It was like my own little gem..These songs wouldnt sound right any other way.Pharoah, I coudlnt tell u how many times I'd play this on sunday morning riding to the Jersey Shore..lol

I like pretty much the whole thing. Well, except for That Animal Mess, of course. disbelief
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
