If it has to be a boot:
Small Club 2NigsUnited4WestRotterdam (Esp First set) or more recently: Indigo After show (28th August) is basically P on guitar with just a bassist and drummer. It is out of this world, Really though, the debate about P's guitar skills is so damn passé. The cat has been out the bag for a long time now!

If his music had taken a back seat or he himself had done so then he would be thought of as a guitarist more often. That's the trouble with being a band leader and all-rounder.

Days Of Wild Guitar Jam from the NPGMC release Motherless Child from Septimo Cosign on the official releases too. I would go with those before boots in fact. Motherless Child from Septimo Love that one!! I love the sweater he's wearing, too. No matter your age, pursue your dreams so that you will LIVE.

prince's playing on Crimson and Clover (leno off screen, audio in circulation)
Colonized Mind ,with a little help of my friends, spanish castle magic (all conga room) is OUT of this world. it kills everything from small club, but small club was 20 years ago. I have a feeling that nowdays Prince don't play guitar he tries to go into inner spectrum of the soul of that instrument.

i was listening conga rom yesterday and i couldn't belive how amazing solo he played on Colonized Mind,Prince plays guitar better then ever he emulates Hendrix
but he added a little bit of Steve Vai in his style.

frustrating as hell. They just won't accept it. The really frustrating thing is that about 99.9% of the people who argue that he's not one of the greats have never even heard anything of his other than a few of the hits on the radio. I'll never understand it. (well, I kinda do and I have my thoughts about why, but that's a whole other topic) well even if they listened to his albums, Prince usually buries his guitar in the mix so deep that you don't even realize he's playing a solo unless you listen to it.

Yeah, He was total guitar god from 4U-Purple Rain for Parade he tried to have a James Brown like band jam set not a lot of rock music tried to prove he was still funk & soul SOTT was a bit similar with such a diverse set of music from Rock to Gospel but he did give me more guitar:SOTT Play In the Sunshine I Could Never Take the Place, U Got the Look, the Cross [Let's Go Crazy, Purple Rain] about the same with Lovesexy after that it was lot of hit and miss guitar wise
