The Revolution may have been a back-up band, but W&L, along with Eric Leeds contributed alot to Prince's core sound. If not for them P's music probably would have took a turn for, imo, the worst way before Lovesexy (which is the last classic Prince record for me.)

btw...I'd throw Babs name into the female singer/performer pot, although she pre-dates the MTV and Internet generation. P like every person of faith be they Christian, Muslim, Buddhist or Hindu has seasons where they slip up where the will of the mind rather than the will of God takes over for a bit..

I'd imagine being in the entertainment industry and maintaining the Godly balance is a difficult process for him.

Has anyone ever tried to permanently kick a habit? Smoking, a negative or self-critical way of thinking a simple change of eating habits for the better?

How difficult did you find it? the habits of a lifetime are hard to break and take time. sometimes a person has the odd relapse.

noone is perfect no Christian is perfect,(no matter what they tell you) we come in all shapes, sizes and with many different temperaments (just like every other human being) Being a Christian also comes with the added bonus that non Christians seem to want you to be just like them but watch you really closely and will be the first to criticise and query when you act just like everyone else.
