"When You Were Mine" is a cool song to sing to on American Idol, 'cause it's kinda poppy and rocky. I would sing that (if I could

Also on the uk version the boys did a version of 1999 with a full band and it went down a storm!!
I think if I was to audition, to impress I'd sing Sign O The Times complete with beat box, can u imagine, what a laugh!!!

Yeah, "The Beautiful Ones" is a poppy enough song, yet a sufficiently showy vocal piece, to carry a victory on either of these shows. On Showtime at the Apollo, I'd probably go with "God." Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
