"If U Let Me Undress U" Forgive me my recurring ignorance of facts, but what's up
with this 'outtake'? I never heard about this one before and as far as I can recall it's not on "the work" either. Is it Prince on vox or is it a song written for a protegé? Or is it simply a fake? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Your memory serves you correctly regarding its absence from 'The Work' volumes.
with this 'outtake'? I never heard about this one before and as far as I can recall it's not on "the work" either. Is it Prince on vox or is it a song written for a protegé? Or is it simply a fake? According to Turn It Up 2.0 it was played during the piano segment in 1988 in Copenhagen (Aug 21) - as a 'seemingly ad-libbed bluesy number'. So there is no certainty that a fully-fledged song exists by this title. In fact, it states that there are only 3 lines sung. ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.
