Yeah, we heard of it. Just ask what we think of it. My opinion: nothing special. One of the few tracks I liked on Exodus.

It's a good song, not great. The album, sans the segues, is one of his 90's best.

I can't handle the segues in Exodus. So much so that I barely listen to it.

Cherry Cherry is my least favorite track on that. The lyrics are just too corny and juvenile sounding.

I know Cherry Cherry dies dies in this song, but by then I'm so bored bored I just can't give a rat's ass ass.

Cherry Cherry is a very nice song. It's a little rough around the edges and leaves many open questions, but it's a pretty ballad.

the lyrics are kinda meh, as someone stated, but it has a real cute melody. i like it. great to sing along to. the exodus album is my shit this week . dig the whole thing, even most of the skits .

I don't like this song at all! It sucks and is way out of place on the Exodus album HATED IT!!

Cherry, Cherry just sounds like all the bad Prince ballads crammed into one. It feels a little dated from the first note and overly plush in its arrangement and production. A little too saccharine.

One of my favourites from the 90s.

Some of the comments here make me think people didn't really 'get it' - The lyrics are kinda dated now, but no more than other faux-Gangsta stuff on Exodus or TGE. The musical style is straight up Philly Soul - This is Prince paying homage to his musical youth a year or two before the Stylistics and Delphonics covers on Emancipation.
