I think CD1 of the ONAL-Set is the best CD 1 of the ONAL-Set is just perfect! Great musicianship, great songs (my favourites so far: Extraordinary, Xenophibia, 1+1+1=3, The Other Side Of The Pillow and Avalanche). I also enjoy CD 2 very much until and including Adore. The Hits-Medley afterwards is very nice, but not the best thing about ONAL. The "It ain´t Over"-CD is, for my taste, not the best that an aftershow can get. Well, "Joy In Repetition" is great of course, but tracks like 2 Nigs United are not very interesting.
Would you agree thet on ONAL CD1=The Jazz CD CD2=The Pop CD CD3= The Funk CD? See the man with the blue guitar, maybe one day he`ll be a star...

Agreed. I love Prince's standard repitoire that he plays on disc 2, but we've all heard it before. I wish the entire box set was new material (though leave Anna Stesia on there!). If you want a live hits collection, go out and get Rave Un2 The Year 2000. I don't care what anyone says about Prince's "new" lyrics, cause he is still preaching what he was preaching back in '88 - Love is God, God is Love - nothing more, nothing less.
Best ONAL tracks: Rainbow Children, Muse, Xeno, Avalanche, Everlasting, Anna Stesia, Joy In and Dorothy P. Toejam @ Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com

I agree. CD1 is perfect. The first five songs on CD2 are great, and the piano playing in part of the medley is cool, but I for one don't like seeing Condition of the Heart listed when you don't hear anything from it, or Diamonds and Pearls listed, when you get maybe 30 seconds from it. Plus, some of the production on Free and How Come U Don't Call Me just didn't work for me.
CD3 is good about every other track. Starts out strong with Joy, We Do This is just okay, Just Sunny/If You Let me Stay is pretty cool in my opinion, 2 Nigs is kinda weak, Alphabet Street is cool, Peach is way too long and fairly uninteresting (waste of space, could've been other things here!), Dorothy Parker is great, and then the last two songs are fillers as well. CD3 could've been a lot better.

The Aftershow CD is excellent. From start 2 finish. If u don't like this Cd , u don't have "The Funk". 2 nigs, Alphabet St, Peach...all excellent funk jams.
