ONA retail in the UK? Anyone know when it's gonna come out? hmv.co.uk has got the release date as today, but neither of the stores on Oxford street has got any in. They've ordered them (the album is listed as an import) but haven't received any copies.

hmv.com has the release date as today, but lists a shipping time of 3 weeks! amazon has the same release date and a wait of 4-6 weeks! (though it is almost £10 cheaper).
what's the point of a mid december release date when no-one can get it to you before january? All those who believe in telekinetics, raise my hand...

yeah ...called hmv today as I wanted to offer onalive to a friend for Xsmas...
apparently the CDds haven't arrived !!! AhAhAh... They don't know what's happening... The release date hasn't been changed !!! but NPG records haven't sent the CDs... What a major FuckUp !!! Anyway I'll just have to copy the Cds for my friend... Its 50 quids the NpG won't get... Sorry guys... Your own fault... BUNCH of LOSERS 
I feel really sorry for Prince today... He has got a clue really: A week before Xmas was such a good opportunity for him to sell some great music... Never mind... eh

This problem always seems to come up with UK releases - TRC seemed to turn up here unannounced about 2 months after it's "official" release date, and I'm still waiting to see one in the local Virgin store...
why doesn't he just put ONA Live in the general retail section of NPGMC? members would still get it first, but non-members (esp UK non-members) wouldn't have to chase shadows (or rip members' copies) to get hold of one - and he would get that super-sized profit share he loves so much. All those who believe in telekinetics, raise my hand...
