Help on rarity of an item... Hey all. So I am browsing Ebay today and come across this...
http://cgi.ebay.com/PRINC...7C294%3A50 I KNOW I have seen this cover before. But the ebay item lists nothing about the tracks included or anything. So I am trying to figure out if this is a cd I already have (boot)...or exactly what is on it. Anyone recognize this? Know any info on it? PS...it says that it was suppose to be sold on the site (npgmc) in 2004...I was a member of that site, and I might be going crazy but I was thinking it DID sell on the site. I am at work and cannot get to my cd collection to see what I have on hand...but it looks so familiar. If I knew the songs, it would help. Anyway...look how much they want for it. It´s the MPLS single off of that 1800 New Funk album which also contained songs like Color, Lovesign etc.
This one is just the single though, so don´t expect too many songs on it. It is a bit pricey, IMO,and there are far better and more rare CDs I´d buy if I wanted to spend 300 dollars. It is rare and that price is about right.
I think some of these were sold in the NPG shop? maybe i'm thinking of another CD. | |

Some of these CD Singles did get out on NPG Store shelves, but were withdrawn.
The group was originally called The Crayons, but by this release had been dubbed Minneapolis, or MPLS. The disc contains the song MPLS from 1-800-NEW FUNK and two other cuts that appear nowhere else. It's scarcity makes it a relatively expensive collectible.
