Hi, I still have never seen Prince Live, mainly due to where I live.

I love watching his footage on lotusflow3r' Wish there was more! and could buy it to watch anywhere except of the net.. I think most fans had already seen allot of them.
I was listening to a live performance of him on imeem where he changed the words in Uptown "just looked her in her eyes and said NO! IS YOU MAMA? just made me burst out laughing.
You know" how he changes the lyrics from what was recorded on the record allot like in Kiss_ Dynasty to MTV ect and for the occasion of the rain at the superbowl somebody take my picture "put all this rain inside.

Just wondering if people have momories of times he's changed the lyrics that stood out out. CLEVER or Funny Maybey We Could make A List?????

99% of the time I don't like when Prince changes the lyrics in his songs. It was cool when Sex and the City was still on and he mentioned that show instead of Dynasty during Kiss. There's been a few clever lines in songs that he's done live but never officially recorded but we can't discuss that here. BUT Telemarketer Blues is funny as heck with some clever lines. Dang, lyric changes to "on the couch" were also good and actually added to the song but I'd have to do some research to remember them. I'm sure some of my friends around here will remember.

Yeah Ive heard these on his recorded shows too, just any that people remember during a performance that was a once of. maybey during something that was big on the news.

I was in a state of shock, so I don't remember the show, where the hell it was or which song it was but I was singing along, as anyone that has been to a Prince show knows you must do! The rest of the audience and I said "fuck" but Prince said "duck"...my legs gave out and I had to sit down! That's all I can remember!

I always wished he hadn't changed it to that. It's been stuck in my head ever since.

Every time I hear Darling Nikki I say "panties layin' on the stairs" instead of the normal lyric.

On an almost unrelated side note, I can't listen to the album version of Take Me With U anymore because of the live version from the Purple Rain tour. That extra jam toward the end with the riff from Controversy gets me every time.

At the August 5th 1990 concert in the Thialf Heerenveen Stadium - which was an encore show for the June 2nd and 3rd concerts at the Feyenoord Stadium, because at those Nude Tour premiers there was soooo much rain... - he changed the Nothing Compares 2 U line into: "Nothing could stop this lonely RAIN from falling..." You should have heard us all then!

...and didn't he change the name Bambi once into Suzanne (for Lois Lane's Suzanne Klemann)? "It's better with a man?"
