ONA Live not at Tower Records

I called Tower in Dallas tonight and they informed me that the boxed set was not received. The clerk said they probably pushed it back at the last minute. Has anyone had any luck finding it in their local record stores yet?

The Warehouse (which I also hate, along with Tower) and Best Buy don't know when the release date is either. But it IS listed on the Best Buy site for sale. Which is just plain stupid. So you're not alone. Be patient. It'll get there soon.

It is very likely that they pushed back the release date to make sure where possible that members receive them before being made available to the general public.

Also, reports are surfacing that the ONA Piano CD is being included in the box sets sent ONLY to members.

Guess it's there attempt to keep the premium (members first) and exclusive (members only) items in play.

I ordered ONAL on CD Universe.com last week, and my account says it shipped yesterday. I have doubts after reading this that it actually did. We shall see...

Also, a friend of mine, who I saw last weekend, works for the Chicago Tribune. She said Greg Kot (the Trib rock critic), who is not a member of NPGMC, was sent his copy of ONAL directly from Paisley Park for review (which he did this past Sunday) and it had ONA in it. I have a feeling all of the box sets will have it as well or at least the first group sent out to retailers. Again, we shall see...

I think there r 2 types of box sets:
- promo´s: including ONA piano;
- retail: only 3 discs with a barcode on the back of the box.

That's because if someone in NJ picks it up, we probably won't hear about it for months.
