Absolutely not, it's a boot through and through. I agree though, it's very good. I really dig "Eye Am The DJ", that should have made it onto the proper album for sure. The alternate version of "Emancipation" is nice too. |

Love the added beatbox on "slave" 2020 is hypnotic "Feel Good"...just like that it comes phat....If u think prince ain't got flow, just pump this.... Journey 2 the center of ur heart...I love the vocals and lyrics but the production is week... "Good bye" is beautiful | |

But the other ones are really good, especially 2020, Journey 2 the Center of Your Heart and of course Goodbye. Too bad those were left out on the official release. No one should be excited to hear the "alternate" version of Emancipation. It's not an "alternate" but rather an earlier version - - the song sounds pretty much the exact same but w/ out the bass-line & extra production. To me it's alot more boring than the original. nothing different in the way the "witness 4 the prosecution" alternate was a totally different arrangement than the more widely circulated version.
I used to like "Feelgood" on there - but it, too, got kinda boring w/ the same formula of 2 segments of rap, followed by some cheesy instrument, then another rap bridge. journey 2 the center of u're heart and eye am the dj though are just infectious - can't get these songs out of my head!! slave 2 the system is awesome I think, although i see why people don't like it 2020 is one of those i like SO much I just WISH it was longer cause i don't want it to end, but that's probably what makes it such an awesome song | |
