Hello everybody!!

I have a simple question. HOwever i couldnt figure it out my self. Does any one know what kind of GUITAR Prince plays??. Please awnser ..i would be very glad. Ive been playing acoustic guitarrs for a long time. But have no experience in electrics. Since im gonna get myselft a new one now i need to try one out. Ive played on Strats and les pauls... Since Princes guitarr is great looking aswell i cant miss that out ..

He's been playing that Hohner Telecaster quite a lot lately.
I don't know why he likes the Hohner so much vs. any other Telecaster guitar. I know that Hohner came out with a "Prinz" special edition that looks just like his. You can pick them up on ebay for super inflated prices. It's "Prinz" because he didn't endorse it.

The right Tele' can be 3 funky.

prince started playing the hohner telecastor (custom made) during his Dirty Mind days , but before that he played a junior les paul. Then he had his own custom made guitars and now he's back to his hohner it seems. the honher tele isn't sold very much anymore, mostly because they were so crappy.

Thanks for the awnsers everybody. If i may guess..i think i know why "Prince" played a junior les paul for a time. Maybe becouse of his hands-size?. The hohner telecaster doesnt seem to be a very famous...(Maybe besouse it is custom made) that would explains why i havent seen it in any store. I live in Sweden, and although Hendrix was already a legend here before getting famous in USA and although we have great guitarrplayers here aswell such as Ynwie "Fastes player in the World" Malmsten, i havent seen the hohner telecaster. Maybe a Fender Tele sounds a bit the same? I didnt like the Ibanez guitars.. that i know for a fact. But i must admit. Prince plays one of the best designed guitarrs i have ever seen. If anybody by chance live in Sweden and has one for sale..dont hesitate to awnser. Bye all guitarr lover!!!
