Actually, Batman and Come would both will always apply for my "Worst Prince LP" prize at the end of the day, and I'd call it a close game... As to Come, I simply hated it from the first time I heard it, and I think I never pulled it out deliberatly agein since then. To me, it's just a bunch of uninspired blah, again, it's about opinions and taste.. Like I said, I was a Prince maniac, and it was Come only which made me abandon listen to ANY Prince stuff for YEARS.....So, to me, there's nothing to be dated, once wack, always wack IMO... Lovesexy, on the other hand, still I would consider his best album after SOTT, but that's (again) definitely where it's a matter of taste.. | |
