Roadhouse Garden

Do we have any kind of playlist for this unreleased album?

Man I hope Prince mans up and pays the people that should be involved and the NPG isn't it...(not out of disrespect to the NPG but the people that were involved in various degrees)

Roadhouse Garden
Our Destiny
Go
Splash
Wonderful Ass

(I don't know which are or are not)

Add to that 'In a large room with no light', 'Empty Room' and 'All My Dreams'. Im not entirely sure if 'Go' was ever mentioned (or 'Our Destiny' for that matter, although that may be a given).

oh ok I guess In A Large Room... was a toss between the Dream Factory use or Roadhouse Garden
All My Dreams a toos between Parade & Roadhouse Garden, it has a similar feel to the other music connected with R.G. same with In A Large Room

The music connect with the Roadhouse Garden too me feels more like the Family & the Sheila E album

Track list unknown but includes: Roadhouse Garden, Witness 4 The Prosecution, Splash, All My Dreams, In A Large Room With No Light, Empty Room & Wonderful Ass

Prince could still release this if he wanted to, but he won't because then eeverybody would know that his old music is better than his new music. biggrin

ooopps cool I agree (shhhhh)
His ego is in they way (In This Bed I Scream) he knows what Time It Is
but won't give into the greatness, That would be a hot album, would blow up, and there would be not musical compromise because the fantastic creative foundation of this this music would blow out anything out there now or in the last 20 years

Roadhouse Garden
Dream Factory
Camille
Black Album

all 4 of these had some fantastic musical culture possibilities
I think: what would be the look, new cloud guitar?, videos, tour ...

I'm not sure what you mean by 'toss up' - Roadhouse Garden is a project from 1998/99, so it's tracklist doesn't clash with the inclusion of any of it's tracks on earlier albums (Large Room, Dream Factory and All My Dreams, Dream Factory and Parade, respectively).

I thought Roadhouse Garden was something being worked on during the 1984/85 years

Oh what I was saying was some of these songs were possibles for the Dream Factory, it least that's what I've ready mostly about In A Large Room

I mean I know Prince approached Wendy & Lisa in 98/99 to release it...but wouldn't pay them, but I thought the work was done(mostly)

In a 2008 interview with Minneapolis' "Real Rube Radio", Dr. Fink implied he may have a new solo album somewhere in the near future. In the same interview, he mentions Prince possibly releasing the unreleased Revolution album, Roadhouse Garden.

The song, yes. The album didn't exist until 98/99.

I think Our Destiny was a part of that project. I have it and Roadhouse Garden as one song on the "Downloadable" bootleg. Our Destiny flows right into Roadhouse Garden.

I'll continue to say it, a lot of Princes Purple Rain-Lovesexy music didn't have cursing in it.

Out of all those mentioned above only Wonderful Ass does

and he performed In A Large Room With No Lights just this year

But doesn't the original of Large Room... have a motherfucker in it, that would mean he would beep it out or re record it which is unlikely, i hope he just releases it as it is.

Revisit this last line: a polished version of In A Large Room With No Light. In fact, he didn't sing the verse in which he says motherfucker.

ehh it's not like these songs are filled with cursing or that it's needed in a Large Room, Wonder Ass of course it's the title of the song...censored but probably cool if instead of saying ass he or someone hit a guitar riff that sounded like it like the talking guitar on Shortberry Strawcake

It'd be nice if he did release the songs as is but since we all have them already the point is moot. Other than an improvement in sound quality and some liner notes what would be the difference. When he finally released "Feel U Up" on the b-side of "Partyman" it was the same exact version I had on a bootleg for three years prior.
